The Department of Mechanical, Energy, Management and Transportation Engineering (DIME) at the University of Genoa is a center of excellence where multidisciplinary skills, a passion for engineering, and a commitment to high-level education converge to create a dynamic and stimulating environment. Its organization, designed to ensure transparency and efficiency, is based on various thematic sections, each dedicated to specific areas of research and teaching, in order to encourage collaboration and the exchange of ideas among professors, researchers, and students. This openness to knowledge sharing also extends to companies, with which the Department constantly engages through joint projects, technology transfer, and innovation initiatives. DIME looks to the future with the aim of contributing to sustainable development and training professionals capable of leading change at both local and global levels. At the same time, safety remains an essential value, pursued through rigorous procedures and a culture of prevention that protects anyone who studies, works, or collaborates with the Department.
